Extrapolate 1.3 Thomas Mazza 2006-09-13
Limit_Values 1.5 Timothy Barker 2004-08-27 This tool seemed to be very similar to Between, as both adjust grids within an edit area to be within the forecasters desired maximum and minimum limits. The team preferred the interface for Limit Values.
query_and_assign 1.0 Michael Dutter 2003-04-08 This tool is similar to Limit Values but is unique in that it can create values or ranges of values which were not originally in the grid.
Shrink_Stretch_Taper 2.0 Ryan Knutsvig 2004-01-24

Copy_from_Model 1.1 Timothy Barker 2002-01-18 Allows user to copy model data into grid edit area as opposed to the entire grid. Has been very useful in manipulating the TCM wind grid in tropical situations.
ISC_Copy 1.6 Timothy Barker 2005-10-14
MatchGuidance 2.3 Timothy Barker 2005-09-11
MatchGuidanceAll 3.1 Timothy Barker 2005-09-11

Model_Blend 2.1 Timothy Barker 2006-07-31
mySREF 2.0 William Rasch 2007-10-22
serp 1.12 Timothy Barker 2004-03-19 Analysis scheme that allows one to populate a grid based on a distribution of point values. There was concern that the Serp interpolation scheme does not consider factors that affect the radius of influence other than elevation (such as land use). It was also noted the Serp interpolation scheme assumes the point values are accurate which may or may not be an advantage [other analysis schemes, (e.g. Optimal Interpolation, Barnes) do not necessarily match point values]. However, the team felt that the Serp tool represents the state of the art in IFPS analysis schemes.

BTV_SkyTool 1.0 Peter Banacos 2007-01-24 The tool relies on an RH-SKY relationship, which is likely not the best approach, but provides more intuitive results than other Smart Tools, is well documented, and simple to install.
Satellite 1.0 Thomas Mazza 2007-05-26 Satellite is intended for near term forecasting (0-6 h) and includes the Satellite tools in the former SatAndRadar tool.

Diurnal_from_Obs 1.0 Timothy Barker 2003-08-08 Forecasters should be cautioned that if the diurnal temperature curve from persistence is not a good forecast, you probably should not use this tool in that instance.

CreateGusts 2.0 Rod Donavon 2006-07-08 Creates Wind Gust using concept of momentum transfer governed by the stability profile.
WindGustChanger 3.1 Robert Stauber 2006-07-06 Creates Wind Gusts based on the wind either multiplied by a percentage or an amount added to the base wind.
WindGust_fm_Wind 2.1 Greg Martin 2003-02-13 Computes an initial Wind Gust by multiplying the wind speed by a user-defined factor. Also allows different thresholds for two separate areas (default and coastal waters, e.g.).
